For 2008, we will be promoting two stallions. Our senior stallion *Shahir IASB and the young stallion we bred, Shaikh Rattlenroll. He is now owned by Kathy and Jerry Downs of C-Port Arabians in Warsaw, MO.

When we brought *Shahir to our farm, it took only a little time with this magnificent individual to know that their best stallion had just left their farm for ours. He grew to be a prime focal point of each day we spent with him. He is loving, extremely intelligent, and yes spoiled. In making the decision to downsize and find new owners for *Shahir, we slow walked a lot of proposals to find people we were not only comfortable with in their business direction and methods, but who had a love for him and an understanding of the personal commitment to bring him into their lives. We welcome Sydney and Marshall Porter of Day Dream Arabians as the new owner's of *Shahir IASB. *Shahir traveled to his new home in Beloit, WI. during August and will be standing there for the 2007 breeding season and beyond. We think you will find that Sydney and Marshall will be a breath of fresh air compared to most farms that stand stallions.        *Shahir’s book will be closing in 2009!

As *Shahir’s breeding career continues to evolve, we have made the decision to close his book to the United States effective 2009. We will be offering a limited number of approved breedings, at Private Treaty, to straight Egyptian and purebred Arabian mares. If you have an interest in breeding your best mares to *Shahir, please contact us with your mare’s pedigree, photos and breeding history.

For the 2008 breeding season, *Shahir will continue to stand at Day Dream Arabians, to approved straight Egyptian and purebred Arabian mares. *Shahir’s 2008 stud fee is $3,500 with a 10% discount if paid in full at time of booking.

*Shahir has reached the elite levels of Arabian breeding stallions: He is the # 1 out cross Egyptian stallion based on his popularity with breeders of mares from The Minstril and Thee Desperado bloodlines without question. He has been very well received here in the U.S. with 134 registered foals. He is closing in on the 150 level, a level that very few straight Egyptian stallions reach. We are selectively choosing the right mares for him and his book each year is limited, in an effort to maintain the values and desirability of his foals. A stunning copper beauty with four high white socks, a blaze and flaxen mane and tail. He has a wonderful shapely neck with good length and a floating trot to die for. He is already proving to be a spectacular show horse and we feel sure he will develop to be a wonderful herd sire!

Born March 19, 2002, this one has always been special. Out of Bint Masira, a Supreme Champion Arabian mare whose foals have all gone Top Ten at The Egyptian Event! Each has gone on to garner multiple championships. Shaikh is under saddle and soon will be shown in performance.
